Neal Rantoul: A Life in Photographs

Neal Rantoul’s photographs mirror the ways the medium has changed since he first picked up a camera in the 1970s. Rantoul has navigated intense shifts in photography over the past six decades, transitioning from black and white to color, analog to digital, and the ground to the air.  This exhibition unites themes that have shaped Rantoul’s works throughout his career and redefines his approach to a photographic series. Emphasizing how storytelling is integral to his practice, this exhibition creates new narratives for singular works and explores Rantoul’s prolific career as a continual practice of risk-taking.
