Drop into Art – February

Heroines and Heroes in Art

Who is your hero? Join us for an afternoon of fun at the Danforth Art Museum and School as you discover heroes and heroines among Meta Vaux Warrick Fuller’s sculptures. You will have an opportunity to not only design and draw your own hero, but you will also be able to make them into a sculpture ready to take home.

Drop into Art is designed to celebrate the creative potential in all of us. With new themes and projects every month, Drop into Art offers opportunities for kids with their caregivers and adults to create together and connect with one another.  Each program is unique, fun, and free, emphasizing invention, improvisation, and hands-on creativity.

Drop into Art happens the second Sunday of every month, except June, July and August. All sessions are held from 1 – 4 p.m. Admission is always free. Registration is not required — just drop in!

Please note: we are unable to accommodate organized groups in this public program.
