Make-And-Takes and Community Art Project

Make and Takes:

We’ll have a variety of fun make-and-take activities, including exploring watercolors, comic illustrations, and making bracelets.  We’ll also have an open studio for you to try your hand at painting at an easel!

Community Art Project:

Join us all day at our Community Art Project!  Happening at our back lawn, paint designs on acrylic rectangles and hang them on rings to create a unique, moving artwork.  The final piece will be displayed in the Danforth Lobby!

Artist Talks

Our Hype the Arts event will feature artist mini talks. You will get to meet and hear artists represented in Danforth’s 3rd Annual Juried Exhibition. They will speak on what inspired their work, their process and their practice. We hope you’ll stop by to listen, learn, and interact with some amazing local artists!
