Sunday Spotlight: Creativity and the Brain

Torrance York relies on her camera as a tool to help her better understand and manage her Parkinson’s disease. Her photography not only captures the beauty and simplicity of ordinary moments, but also explores her fears, challenges, and goals of being adaptive and positive. Join Learning & Engagement Coordinator, Katherine Tako-Girard, as she moderates a discussion about Parkinson’s and Creativity with Torrance York and developmental neuropsychologist, David H. Rose, EdD. They will discuss how art delivers potent, accessible, and proven solutions for the wellbeing of Parkinson’s patients as well as others.
