Bilingual Drop into Art – April

Vessels, Baskets, and Face Jugs

Weaving baskets and forming containers from natural materials have stood the test of time. Join us as we discover various vessels, baskets, and quirky face jugs currently on display at the Danforth. Afterwards, learn how to weave a basket using sustainable materials.

Drop into Art is designed to celebrate the creative potential in all of us. With new themes and projects every month, Drop into Art offers opportunities for kids with their caregivers and adults to create together and connect with one another.  Each program is unique, fun, and free, emphasizing invention, improvisation, and hands-on creativity.

Drop into Art happens the second Sunday of every month, except June, July and August. All sessions are held from 1 – 4 p.m. Admission is always free. Registration is not required — just drop in!

Please note: we are unable to accommodate organized groups in this public program.

Questions? Contact Katherine Tako-Girard or call 508-215-5117.

This Drop into Art is bilingual due in part to grants from the Mass Cultural Council and the Framingham Cultural Council.
