Photo-Based Collage & Assemblage Workshop with Claudia Ruiz-Gustafson

Join photographer Claudia Ruiz-Gustafson in this unique collage workshop exploring connections between photographs and personal stories. You will have the opportunity to view the artist’s work in the Danforth Art Museum galleries, learning about her artistic process. Returning to the studio, Claudia will lead you through the creation of your own 3D collage, using a cigar box as a base, and incorporating photos and other details which expresses your own story. Please bring any specific photographs and collected items you would like to use for the collage; additional materials will be provided.
